Job Summary: Troubleshoot jig and fixtures; make adjustments and/or repairs as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or E.D
  • Proficient in machining, lathes, grinders, drill presses, bridge ports, and ability to operate any other
  • Experience with Hand Tools, Hand Grinders, Drills,
  • MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Blue print reading
  • Measuring tools, scales, micrometers, calipers,
  • Experience welding fixtures and quality check
  • Support tool changeover and fixture PMs (adjustments, ice blasting, shimming, etc.)
  • Perform routine cap, tip and electrode changes
  • Rework MIG/TIG welds as needed
  • Demonstrate jig and fixture knowledge through a job interview and proficiency
  • Crane certification
  • Forklift license

Essential Functions:

  • Performs assignments that range in complexity from simple machine repair to troubleshooting
  • Insure compliance with Federal/State/Local safety and environmental
  • Seek ways to reduce waste, manufacturing byproducts, and hazardous raw materials.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 :2015

Physical Demands/ Work Environment:

  • Constant communication with employees, peers, and
  • Frequent distractions and interruptions
  • Multiple demands in a challenging and fast paced- team orientated environment
  • Noisy environment
  • The employee is required to stand on his/her feet for long periods of
  • The employee is required to use hand to finger, finger to finger, handle, or feel objects, and use hand tools or twist fasteners repetitively for long periods of
  • The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, see and
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50
  • While performing his/her duties, the employee is regularly exposed to loud noises and electrical
  • The employee regularly works near moving mechanical
  • Overtime as
  • Office, Plant floor
  • Travel as required

Health and Safety:

  • Compliance with Occupational safety sections of
  • Must report all accidents and near misses to your Supervisor
  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures.
  • Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the
  • Must wear all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
