Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the high-frequency delivery system, Supermarkets, Decanting Operations and ensuring production department can meet just-in-time requirements by supplying components.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of five years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills
  • Must have a good knowledge of the English language
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and inventory management system (CMS)
  • Must be able to prioritize, work with limited supervision, give instruction, and be willing to be hands-on with projects
  • Must be able to multi-task, analyse data, pay close attention to detail, and be self-motivated
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949


  • Coordinates the work flow for team members in all material movement activity
  • Store material(s) in warehouse racks per computer generated rack location
  • Pick material from warehouse rack location per computer generated pick ticket and deliver to assembly line location designated by computer ticket
  • Coordinate with material planner service parts packaging, labeling and shipping.
  • Participates in inventory as required.
  • Will, as required, work as a member of the logistics team. Must be available to work all shifts and weekends
  • Follow all work and safety instructions for all assigned operations
  • Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks/tuggers safely and with due consideration to pedestrians and safety regulations
  • Ensure employees are performing their duties to the standards and guidelines as dictated by plant leadership
  • Reinforce compliance with health and safety regulations, company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee the high-frequency delivery system
  • Ensure product gets to the customer JIT
  • Ensure non-production and production parts meet Martinrea requirements and provide them on time to production
  • Ensure raw material inventory is identified and assigned by areas
  • Support the Safety Committee at all times, and perform employee safety observations
  • Ensure proper use of equipment, such as forklift trucks and Tuggers
  • Must understand the six elements of the quality system, record retention, document control, non-conforming material, corrective action, preventative action, and internal audits, as well as department procedures
  • Conduct employee training
  • Correct substandard acts or conditions
  • Perform employee safety observations
  • Any other projects and duties assigned by SCO Manager
  • Ensure completion of the necessary documentation: Forklift Checklist/Circle Check by each TM
  • Perform regular inspection/maintenance and safety checks on equipment as required
  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Working Conditions

  • 80% office, 20% plant floor (PPE required)

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, reach, stand, talk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, walk, and lift/move up to 35 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to crouch/kneel, drive, and pull/push. The employee is occasionally required to climb, perform overhead work, and sit. Lifting/moving of anything more than 35 pounds may occur rarely.
