Job Summary: Working in a plant environment focusing on the organization and development of the MRO parts crib by monitoring and maintaining all inventories by using all aspects of the plant CMMS software system.

 

Knowledge and Skills (Education):

 

  • Post-secondary education
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CMS or Xeeva an asset
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software). EMAINT software experience an asset
  • Strong Coordination, planning and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with employees, OEM suppliers, vendors and all levels of management
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve issues from a variety of known options
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Inventory control knowledge

 

Major Accountabilities:

  •  Maintain and develop CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) software
  • Organize and develop MRO parts crib. Responsible for equipment and repair parts entry and management.
  • Generates and updates Preventative and Predictive maintenance work instructions for all equipment, and enters into system. Updates any changes or modifications to work instructions
  • Ensures that all spare parts inventory and materials are available for planned PM activities
  • Prepares work orders and ensures audits are being performed.
  • Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook
  • Maintain an inventory of all items to ensure adequate supply
  • Ensure all consumables and/or products are placed in allocated areas in the MRO Crib
  • Communicate to purchasing to replenish stock as required
  • Perform random audits on completed orders and correcting any errors upon completion of the audit
  • Verifying and creating part numbers to part label to ensure accuracy
  • Run/analyze daily MRP runs on stock inventory
  • Make appropriate adjustments to negative qtys upon approval of department manager
  • Enter all requisitions for items in need of order replenish
  • Participate in prepping and performing quarterly inventory
  • Perform all MRO receiving functions into system
  • Responsible for keeping the MRO crib organized and clean at all times
  • Verifying product against PO, working through PO/shipment discrepancies

  Working Conditions:

 50% Plant environment (PPE required), 50% Office

 Constant standing, walking, bending and lifting (light to heavy), seldom climbing

  • Warm/Cold temperatures
  • Communication with Lead Hand, Supervisors and Management
  • Overtime as required
