Job Summary:

  • To control and maintain all accounting functions within Atlas Fluid Systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all areas of financial reporting, and to assist in a financial capacity with Atlas Fluid Systems development and growth


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum college graduate, with either a CA, CMA, or CGA designation, previous management experience;
  • Strong leadership, exceptional organization and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, and MS office
  • Working knowledge of AS400 and / or CMS.
  • Knowledge of Customer Requirements as per training matrix
  • Strong knowledge of Bill 189 practices
  • 5-10 years experience in a related manager/supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry processes and operations

  • Mentor and guide the team unit when needed.
  • To meet all timelines set forth by corporate
  • To properly and accurately record the financial performance of Atlas Fluid Systems
  • To act as a financial liaison between Corporate and Atlas Fluid Systems
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Cash flow management and reporting ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Fixed asset management and reporting ensuring accurate and completeness
  • Weekly reporting cash flow and profit and loss analysis
  • Complete the month-end close activities ie. Journal entries and reconciliation's by day four of close
  • Continuous improvement summary reporting
  • Capital expenditure validation and sign off
  • Preparation and payment of all Government reporting packages ie GST, WXIB
  • Part costing analysis and reporting
  • Actively participate in tooling audits through preparation and presentation
  • Create and /or prepare any ad-hoc reporting requested by management or Corporate office.
  • Supervise, mentor and monitor the APand AR functions,
  • Prepare year end audit package and be primary contact during audit
  • Prepare annual budget ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Any other duties as needed
