Job Summary:

 The Quality Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, managing all plant quality assurance programs and Quality Management System.


Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of Ten years of experience related to defined job responsibilities or equivalent training.

  • Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards and procedures, including testing and maintenance methods, procedures, data collection and traceability.
  • Supervises various phases of inspection, testing and quality assurance procedures through subordinate staff.
  • Completes or directs completion of quality assurance documentation and plans.
  • Writes or reviews policy and procedures relative to quality control programs.
  • Investigates and resolves non-conformance issues and customer concerns.
  • Assigns and schedules employees and resources.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures.
  • Recommends changes in working conditions and use of equipment.
  • Communicates, implements and enforces company policies and procedures.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals, including perform evaluations, determine training needs and estimate department objectives and targets.
  • Analyses and resolves or assists employees in solving work problems.
  • Recommends or initiates personnel actions.
  • Confers with other supervisors and staff members.
  • QMS Management Representative.


Working Conditions

Effort/Physical Demands

  • Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
  • Overtime as required


Health and Safety Responsibilities

  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures
  • Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company
