  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality systems activities ensuring the system conforms to the applicable quality standard as per our client's requirements
  • Managing the supply base which includes: incoming product quality, creating quality alerts, and monthly reports
  • IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 implementation and compliance
  • Participating in APQP and problem solving activities both internal and external
  • Assuming backup Quality Manager roll
  • Ensure subordinates follow all Company policies on Health & Safety and PPE requirements
  • Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Understand and be compliant with all State and Provincial laws as it relates to Harassment and Violence in the workplace.

Required Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University degree in a related field
  • Two to three years experience in an automotive just-in-time IATF 16949 environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems
  • Experience with development of work instructions
  • Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Critical thinker, attention to details and problem solving skills
