Job Summary:

The Quality Administrator is responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the administration of document control, suppliers, internal and external concerns and internal audit corrective actions.  

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Job-related administrative training or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience related to defined job responsibilities or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge/Experience preferred:
  • TS16949
  • GM, Ford and FCA Customer Systems for tracking customer score cards, launch and engineering change status, bid list, etc.
  • Internal/Process Audits
  • Document Control
  • Communication skills
  • Computer software applications experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good typing/keyboarding skills.
  • Personal qualifications must include a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people, good personal grooming and exceptional oral and written communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and participates in internal and external audits
  • Generates quality and efficiency reports
  • Maintains document control, including procedures, work instructions, forms (excluding production documents), CPs, prints and specifications
  • Supplier support, including SNCRs (issue, follow-up and close). Monthly supplier scorecards (PPM/scoring). Requests to supplier for annual layouts and annual submission of CQI audits.  Follow-up to ensure received.
  • Reviews and tracks customer concerns, including follow-up with QEs when coming past due.
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute sample part requirements weekly.
  • Issues, tracks, reviews, follows up and ensures verification of internal issues for closure
  • Maintains customer on-line systems
  • Performs internal process/control plan audits, issues corrective actions for non-conformances found, follow up, reviews and verifies issues for closure
  • Back-up for non-conforming material tracking
  • Oversees and follows up on QOS reporting
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute weekly rejection report of all parts rejected and weekly rejection report of all parts pending in quality hold.
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects.
