  • Maintain physical plant and equipment to ensure 100% production up-time
  • Maintain, PM and ensure robustness of production equipment
  • Safety of all manufacturing equipment and facilities in the Plant


Education             Certified Millwright and/or a minimum five years practical experience.


Skills                    Good communication and interpersonal skills.

                             Fluent verbal/written English skills.

                             Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

                             Good computer skills

                             Ability to troubleshoot


Experience            Five years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive.

                              Knowledge of Quality standards - ISO-9001/TS 16949.

  • Observe all safety practices
  • Ensure compliance to TS16949
  • Address safety issues
  • Work on ladders, lifts and scaffolds
  • Follow company policies on Health, Safety and Environmental and PPE requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives on all aspects of the job
  • Any other duties as needed


Under the Occupation Health and Safety Act (OHSA), worker responsibilities include the following:

  • Working in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Using or wearing the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Caledon Tubing requires to be used or worn.
  • Reporting to his/her Team Leader the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger him/herself or another worker.
  • Reporting to his/her Team Leader any contravention of the OHSA, regulations or Caledon Tubing policies and procedures.
  • Reporting to his/her Team Leader the existence of any hazard of which he/she is aware.
  • Use only equipment which the worker has been trained to operate safely.
  • Not using or operating any equipment, machine, device or thing or working in any manner that may endanger him/herself or another worker.
  • Not engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct.
