Desired Work Experience:


• Three-Five (3-5) years supervisory experience
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• An understanding of resistance welding (spot) process
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Occupational Health and Safety Act knowledge
• Hydraulics, Electrical, Machine background
• Ability to lead a team of 10 to 15 maintenance technical associates
• Strong technical and problem solving skills using Allen Bradley PLC's, RS Logix 500, 5000/6000. Strong technical and problem solving skills working with Fanuc or ABB Robots to assist maintenance technicians with repair issues.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to:


• Maintains and analyzes the history of all actual maintenance work performed to implement continuous improvement and cost savings.
• Directs Maintenance and Robot Tech associates in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
• Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
• Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment, as it relates to routine, non-routine, and preventive maintenance for plant and equipment.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures assure timely repair of equipment to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or Maintenance or Robot Technician Personnel.
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance Plans and direction of the Maintenance Planner in the scheduling, execution and recording of the Preventative Maintenance Activities
• Monitors and reviews budget items and expenditures.
• Reviews all accident reports and ensures corrective actions are instituted.
• Train, direct and assist all maintenance employees within areas of responsibility.
• Attain targeted quality, production. Maintenance, and cost objectives. (Examples: Oil usage, PM completion percentages, Work order completions, Etc...)
• Help Troubleshoot equipment issues / PM's

Specific Education:
• High School Diploma 

• Journeyman's card preferred but not required

• Controls, Robotic experience a plus
