 Inventory Control Analyst 

 

Job Summary: Working in a plant environment, responsible of Inventory Contol and support overall Materials department  functions.Master (Scheduling department, Purchasing Department, Shipping & Receiving and Materials Handlers trough out the plant).

Knowledge and Skills (Education):

  • Bachelor Degree or College Diploma in Materials Management, Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum 5-10 year manufacturing/materials experience
  • Experience with Inventory Control as well as all aspect of Materials functions.
  • Customer Services Oriented

  • Coach & Counseling oriented
  • Computer Literate

  • Excellent communication required
  • Tier 1 Automotive Steel fabrication Experience
  • Strong Material Flow Improvement Experience
  • Ability to interact with the Management Team in the professional manner to continually enhance the company's performance
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum directionAbility to work in a team environment and be both a team player and team leader
  • Ability to mentor and guide subordinates on achieve overall departmental goals and objectives
  • Adopt a common sense approach to identifying and addressing problems and control weaknesses

Major Accountabilities:

  • Daily Inventory Trend, update and upload on Central
  • Update Held Inventory Report on the daily basis and report out during Hot List Meeting
  • Inventory Accuracy Report, update, upload on Central and report to management team
  • Update Inventory Accuracy Report on Central, report out during conference all with Corporate on weekly basis
  • Support the set up a MARS station on the new equipment
  • Review large inventory variances with Business Unit Management team and establish counter-measures
  • Update Inventory Accuracy Issues List used for the inventory improvement meeting
  • Update Release Analysis Report, review for customer down week or significant changes from our customers
  • Update Inventory Projection Report, review our inventory trend for the next 2 months
  • Review inventory reduction plan with the Materials team and list up action items on the Central
  • Update customer delivery sheet for Management Review
  • Ensure employees are performing their duties to the standards and guidelines as dictated by plant leadership
  • Reinforce compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
  • Supervise all Cycle Count activities
  • Ensures Non-Production and Production parts meet our requirements and provide then on time to production
  • Attendance to the weekly management review meetings
  • Shipping Performance report & expenses report in monthly management meetings
  • Prepare & Audit inventory every week. Report MUST be submitted every Monday to the senior management
  • Provide support to the production areas organizing inventory and keeping parts on stock at all times
  • In charge of quarterly Physical Inventory.
  • Responsible of submitting Performance Appraisal for all personnel assigned
