Job Summary:  Performs a variety of administrative functions for the Maintenance and Production Department

 

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Production and Maintenance Division with a variety of administrative support duties including, but not limited to, meetings, data entry into systems, preparing reports, researching information, creating and updating training matrixes for plant, filing,
  • Support general purchasing activities including cost researches, requisitions, issuance of purchase orders and coordination of minority purchasing activity reports
  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

 

Work Environment:

  • 100% office

 

Physical Demands:

  • Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
  • Overtime as required

 

Health and Safety:

  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
  • Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
