Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; degree
  • 2-4 years' experience in Tool & Die/Jig & Fixture inamanufacturing
  • STRONGworking knowledge of tool and die
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshootdie and press issues and make supervisor aware and assist in
  • Build, rebuild and repair progressive, tandem lineandtransfer
  • Ensuresthat issues and repairs are addressed accurately and timely for continued
  • Readandunderstand blue prints in order to develop and create tools and dies to meet the specifications and needs of internal and external
  • Confirms performance of die by installing die, inspecting operation of die, making adjustments and comparing finished product to
  • Die
  • Measure parts to specification and has a basic working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Conductpreventative maintenance on all toolsand
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area; cleans work area at theendofeach
  • Follows all OSHA and company safety policiesand
  • Promptly and accurately addresses the needs of both internal and external
  • Keepssupervisor and other team members informed of progress, issues and/or
  • Promotes and maintains a positive team
  • Work with other team members, supervisors and/or members of management to resolve departmental or company-wide issues and to implement new programs, proceduresor
  • Operating of conventional Tool room machines, CNC experience will be a plus.
  • Operation of large Overhead Cranes.
  • Welding Techniques.
