Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Engineering Division with a variety of administrative support duties including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments and meetings, answering phones and providing information to callers, taking dictation, composing memos and letters, transcribing notes, distributing mail and faxes, preparing reports, researching information, creating presentations, coordinating travel arrangements and ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Support general purchasing activities including cost researches, requisitions, issuance of purchase orders and coordination of minority purchasing activity reports
  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

 

Work Environment:

  • 100% office

 

Physical Demands:

  • Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
  • Overtime as required

 

Health and Safety:

  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
  • Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
